Our 7th Annual Wish For Peace!
The Power to Effect Change The “Butterfly Effect” was the famous phrase chosen by scientists to demonstrate that the tiniest of variables have tremendous consequences. Something that seems as insignificant as the flap of one butterfly, when magnified over time and space can change the entire weather pattern across the globe. Imagine then, what you are capable of doing when you choose to focus on peace. Imagine again, the impact of many individuals focused together in peace circles using sacred sound, in synchronized global meditations for peace.
The truth is that together, we are powerful beyond measure. It is time for us to use our power wisely, that we may leave a legacy of peace for future generations. Held within the transition that we are now facing is the collective wisdom and divine grace to change the current direction we are heading in, to a more peaceful outcome. The power is in our hands, our hearts, and our knowing that with our spirits combined, all things are possible.
Our group, Circle of Peace, exists not just because of existing wars or the threats of war. It is not just pursued for bonding of ties between different beliefs and cultures. It is because to achieve any of these things, first must come an inner peace within individuals which then can, and will help to expand that peace into the grand unfolding existence we call today.
This year we will again be participating in the global event Earthdance held at over 300 Locations in 50 countries. The Global Focus for 2013 is: TBA.
We will again ACT LOCALLY and have made the Richmond Food Pantry our charitable benefactor.
In addition to our request of a food item or $1 admission, we will also be donating all the proceeds from our raffle of our "Hands Of Friendship" painting which we will be creating on July 14th. This donation to them will help when shelves are not so full and items need to be purchased for those in need of assistance.
