Finger Painting
4th Annual Finger Painting Fun!
No Age Requirement, Just A Desire For Fun
Sunday, July 14, 2013 - 11am to 2:30pm
FREE EVENT
Join Us For Our Sunday Play Date and stay for our drum circle at 3pm!
Bring your inner child to have some fun (children are also VERY welcome). We will be enjoying finger painting on the front lawn. Yes, you read that right, finger painting! While there's no rule that says you have to be five to enjoy this fun activity, many think they're too old to still participate. Come join us as we spark our creative energies with our hand made, colorful creations.
There will be washable paints with all the colors of the rainbow, glitter for those who want to make things sparkly, big sheets of paper to hold all your ideas, and our guarantee that there will certainly be some giggling going on. All in the comfort of the company of others, which kind of makes the giggling thing contagious.
"Hands Of Friendship"
In our hectic world, full of serious things, play brings a smile to everyone's face, no matter our age. Come join us to celebrate the whimsical side of life and let your imagination soar. Your 'grown up' side will be glad you did.
And, I will ask everyone who participates to add their handprint to one special piece called "Hands of Friendship." This piece will be framed and be THE grand prize of a fundraising raffle for the Richmond Food Pantry. The winner of this awesome piece of art will be announced on Saturday, September 21st during our Earth Dance celebration (a Global Festival of Peace).
Congratulations to Sonia who won the 2012 'Hands of Friendship' painting!
Congratulations to Lorraine who won the 2011 'Hands of Friendship' painting!
Congratulations to Fiona who won the 2010 'Hands of Friendship' painting!
