	DANBURITE Danburite can be colorless to white, pale pink, gray, brownish and a straw yellow. Encourages you to let yourself shine. It is a very strong intellectual activator providing stimulous and response to its user. It enhances creativity and mental awareness.

	DIAMOND Clear color. Merges karmic union marriage with souls life purpose. Anchors spiritual union into earthplane bodies. (see Herkimer Diamond below)

	DIOPTASE Dioptase is an emerald green in color and is usually found on a matrix of sandy limestone. Opens higher intuition and higher mental body level. Aids in the ability to honor ones intuition and follow its directions. Inspires new ideas and creativity.

	DOLOMITE Dolomite encourages self realization. It makes it easier to just be ourselves without pretending to be otherwise. It also fortifies a sense of tradition and can aide in fitting into developing communities. Generally the pink color is used in healing work. Aids physical body's calcium and magnesium metabolism. Also aids osteoporosis, broken bones, tooth and jaw disease. Calms and aids insomnia, nightmares and irregular sleep patterns.

top of page	EMERALD Emerald is a bright green beryl, reputed to cast a truthful light on things. It encourages spiritual growth, a sense of harmony, beauty, justice and clairvoyance. It assists us in being upright, goal oriented and life affirming. It can enhance friendship, love and unity between partners and helps us to stay mentally young.

	EPIDOTE Can range from dark green to almost black. It is the green part we most commonly see in Unakite. Causes purging and cathartic detoxification of negative emotions from the aura. Cleanses repressed emotions you've held onto once and for all.

	FLUORITE Fluorite is a soft, subtly shaded stone that comes in a rainbow of colors, with violet, green, teal, and blue the most popular. Useful in opening and healing of the spirit. Aids learning, concentration, and meditation.

	FOSSIL Fossil Stones are generally brown, gray or white. Stimulates reading the ancient wisdom of the earth. Brings awareness of the souls individual record on this planet and individual connections to earth.

	FUCHSITE Fuchsite is a form of Mica and its green coloring is due to the presence of Chromium. Used to enhance knowledge in selecting the right action in holistic medicine. Facilitates the transfer of other gem energies during healing sessions.

	GARNET Garnet derives its name from the Latin word for pomegranate, commonly occurring deep reds to purple red. The stone of fidelity, passion, faith, strength, determination. Good for overall renewal and draws earth energy into the body.

	GOSHENITE (or clear beryl) Aids ability to see and clear old patterns and pain. Encourages karmic healing and brings about the visioning of past life traumas to release and heal them. Fills the soul with light and hope, fosters karmic grace.

	HEMATITE Hematite is dark, silvery black on the outside and quite rusty red inside when drilled. Regarded in ancient Babylon as the Stone of the Warrior, it represents firmness, strength, sticking to your principles, dedication. attraction and achievement. Hematite encourages the ability to survive by creating a foundation for further development towards better conditions. Excellent stone for grounding and increasing self-esteem.

	HERKIMER DIAMOND Herkimer Diamonds, an excellent attunement gem, can provide the ability to recognize the essential being within you, allowing it to "be." In this aspect, they provide the appreciation of the essential being (not of the self) that resides in us all. Evokes pure love and pure information or light. 	HOWLIITE Howlite is white with gray inclusions and a very soft stone that is easily dyed to simulate other gems, especiall turquoise. Creates and unmasks delusion and illusion in one's life. 	IOLITE Iolite is called the “Water Sapphire”, this violet-blue gem holds gentle, wisdom inspiring, patient, kind, and psychic energies.

	IVORY (or bone) Promotes recognition of the ancientness of the earth and engenders respect for all species. Encourages thanks for what the animals have given us to sustain us and brings awareness of extinct and endangered species and respect for the oneness of all life.
