Robin the Robin is Back!

Over the past three years, we have been blessed each spring with our friend Robin making her nest on the front porch. Those who have visited have experienced her chirps or suddenly flying into or out of the nest. She is back again this year, but has chosen the wreath on the front of the store as her spot.

We will be adding photos as her clutch of eggs go along so you can enjoy the new life in this season of growth.

Update: May 5th - We have babies! All four eggs hatched.

Update: May 10th - Two very devoted parents.

Update: May 17th - Sad to say, one of the four had been pushed out of the nest.
So, we have three now who have feathers almost ready to test.
And we had an older fleging show up from a neighboring Robin family.

When I arrived on May 19th, they had all flown off to finish their growing.
I have noticed mama and papa refurbishing the nest - perhaps we'll have a 2nd set of eggs :D
