Daily Series Incense Scents:

  • Great Origin - Daigen-koh - Sandalwood and cinnamon combine to promote comfort and insight.
  • Eternal Treasure - Hoyei-koh - One of Shoyeido's traditional, best-known fragrances. To nurture abundance and fortune.
  • Moss Garden - Nokiba - A blend of sandalwood, patchouli, and benzoin constitute this enchanting fragrance, evocative of plum flowers blooming by the windows.
  • Kyoto Autumn Leaves - Kyo-nishiki - A poetic blend of high quality cinnamon and sandalwood perfectly captures the mood and beauty of a fall day.
  • Golden Pavilion - Kin-kaku - This recipe containing sandalwood, patchouli and cinnamon was inspired by the spectacular Kinkaku-jitemple's reflection in Kyoko-chi pond. If you prefer incense that is a bit more on the earthy/spicy side without sacrificing the traditional subtlety of Japanese incense, Golden Pavilion fits the bill.
  • Kyoto Cherry Blossoms - Kyo-zakura - Inspired by visions of spring days, they artfully combined rhubarb, clove, cinnamon and other herbs and spices to create this refreshing fragrance. The rhubarb adds a pleasantly tart quality to stimulate the senses.
  • Five Hills - Gozan - A deep blending of cloves with the finest sandalwood from Mysore, India. Promotes an air of calmness and contemplation..
  • White Cloud - Haku-un - An earthy-sweet scent helps bring a moment of inner peace inspired by the image of white clouds in a blue sky.

About Shoyeido Incense

Shoyeiodo has respect for the environment and a concern for green practices. They continue to set the standard in the market of fragrance. They have procured permits from the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry in Japan, and the US Fish & Wildlife Department to validate that their products are properly accounted for and responsibly harvested. None of their recipes contain animal ingredients and no testing has ever been done on animals.

Shoyeido has remained family owned and operated since their beginning in 1705. Their skilled craftsmen continue to practice many of the same techniques handed down through twelve generations. Their incense is pure, natural and subtle, every time.
